Linn Selekt DSM Edition Hub

The Linn Selekt DSM Edition Hub is the premium enclosure within Linn’s configurable Selekt DSM range.

It uses Linn’s modular cartridge architecture, allowing the required digital-to-analogue conversion, analogue outputs, integrated amplification and entertainment modules to be selected around the wider system.

Premium machined-aluminium construction

The Edition Hub is built from precision-machined aluminium sections designed to provide greater structural rigidity and improved isolation for the internal electronics.

Its concealed joins, mirrored-glass front fascia and sculpted ventilation pattern create a more refined finish than the folded-aluminium Classic Hub.

Configure the system you need

Selekt DSM Edition Hub can be configured as a source-only network music player, an analogue preamplifier, an integrated amplifier or part of a compatible surround-sound system.

The final configuration depends on the loudspeakers, power amplifiers, connected sources, required DAC performance and future upgrade plans.

Choice of DAC performance

Compatible Selekt DSM output cartridges can be partnered with Standard, Katalyst or Organik DAC modules.

Standard DAC provides the entry point to the platform, Katalyst offers Linn’s established higher-performance conversion architecture, and Organik represents Linn’s current reference DAC technology.

The selected DAC module is added separately and is not included within the starting Edition Hub price.

Analogue outputs and integrated amplification

Stereo line-output cartridges allow Selekt DSM to connect to compatible external power amplifiers.

Stereo power-output cartridges add onboard amplification, allowing suitable passive loudspeakers to connect directly to the hub.

Hybrid and mono cartridge options support more specialised systems, including multi-amplified and dual-mono configurations.

Streaming and high-resolution playback

Selekt DSM Edition Hub can play compatible music stored on a network and access supported streaming platforms and internet radio services.

It supports compatible audio up to 24-bit/384 kHz, alongside formats including FLAC, Apple Lossless, WAV, DSD, MP3, WMA, AIFF, AAC and OGG.

Supported services may include TIDAL, Qobuz, Spotify Connect, Deezer, AirPlay 2, Roon and internet radio. Availability and subscriptions may vary over time.

Analogue and digital source connectivity

The Edition Hub includes moving-magnet, moving-coil and line-level analogue inputs for compatible turntables and other analogue sources.

Optical, SPDIF and USB audio connections allow computers, disc players, televisions and other suitable digital components to become part of the same system.

Television and HDMI integration

An HDMI eARC connection allows audio from a compatible television to play through the Linn system.

The optional HDMI switching module adds four HDMI inputs and one HDMI output for compatible streaming devices, games consoles and disc players.

The required HDMI and surround modules are configured separately according to the installation.

Optional surround sound

With the appropriate DSP, HDMI, DAC and output modules, Selekt DSM Edition Hub can become the control centre for a compatible multichannel system.

The final channel arrangement depends on the cartridges, amplification, loudspeakers and subwoofers selected.

Exakt connectivity

Two Exakt Link connections allow the Edition Hub to connect digitally to compatible Linn Exakt loudspeakers and Exaktbox products.

This enables the hub to remain at the centre of the system as it develops from conventional passive loudspeakers to an Exakt configuration.

Linn Space Optimisation

Linn Space Optimisation can model how the room and practical loudspeaker positions affect low-frequency performance.

The configuration can account for room dimensions, construction materials, loudspeaker placement and the principal listening position.

Professional setup helps tailor the system to the actual room rather than relying on broad, one-size-fits-all correction.

Utopik power supply

The Linn Selekt DSM Edition Hub uses Linn’s Utopik power-supply architecture.

It is designed to provide clean, stable and responsive power to the streaming platform and the audio modules installed within the enclosure.

Physical controls and display

The Edition Hub includes a precision control dial surrounded by an illuminated halo, together with six programmable smart buttons.

These buttons can provide direct access to favourite music, playlists, radio stations and connected sources.

A large concealed display presents music and system information through the mirrored-glass fascia when required.

What does the starting price include?

The advertised price is the starting price for the Linn Selekt DSM Edition Hub enclosure and platform.

The required DAC and output or amplification modules are selected separately. HDMI switching, surround processing and specialist cartridges can also increase the final system price.

Edition Hub or Classic Hub?

Both models use Linn’s modular Selekt DSM platform and can be configured for similar source, amplification, Exakt and entertainment roles.

Edition Hub upgrades the physical construction with precision-machined aluminium casework, improved internal isolation, mirrored-glass fascia and a more sophisticated control interface.

Classic Hub provides the more accessible entry point through its folded-aluminium enclosure.

Choosing Black or Silver

The Linn Selekt DSM Edition Hub is available in Black or Silver anodised aluminium.

The selected finish applies to the external enclosure and does not alter the available modular configurations.
