Description
Additional information

The Linn Klimax DSM System Hub is Linn’s reference network music player and digital control centre for compatible Exakt and Integrated Exakt systems.

It combines high-resolution streaming, source management, Exakt connectivity and Linn Space Optimisation within a precision-machined aluminium enclosure, creating the foundation for a professionally configured reference music system.

Reference digital system control

Linn Klimax DSM System Hub

The Linn Klimax DSM System Hub is designed for listeners building a reference system around compatible Linn Integrated Exakt loudspeakers or Exaktbox electronics.

It brings network music, supported streaming services and connected sources into one central component, then sends the music signal digitally through Linn Exakt Link.

The signal remains in the digital domain until it reaches the receiving loudspeaker or Exaktbox, where dedicated processing, digital-to-analogue conversion and amplification take place.

Reference Exakt control

Designed specifically to control compatible Linn Integrated Exakt loudspeakers and Exaktbox systems.

High-resolution streaming

Supports compatible network music at resolutions up to 24-bit/384 kHz.

Configured for your room

Linn Space Optimisation allows the finished system to be configured around the dimensions, construction and layout of your room.

Network music and connected sources

Bring your music together in one system

Klimax DSM System Hub provides access to compatible high-resolution music stored on a home network, supported streaming services and internet radio.

Compatible services include TIDAL, Qobuz, Spotify Connect, Deezer, AirPlay 2, Roon Ready playback, airable, TuneIn and Calm Radio.

Compatible digital and analogue sources can also be connected, allowing existing music components to become part of the same centrally controlled Linn system.

The tactile central dial and programmable buttons provide direct access to playback, volume, favourite playlists, stations and connected sources.

Linn Exakt technology

Digital precision from source to loudspeaker

In a conventional hi-fi system, a digital source converts the music to analogue before sending it through separate amplification and passive loudspeakers.

Klimax DSM System Hub takes a different approach. It sends the signal digitally through Exakt Link to compatible Integrated Exakt loudspeakers or an Exaktbox.

The receiving product then performs its dedicated digital processing, digital-to-analogue conversion and amplification closer to the loudspeaker drive units.

This allows Linn Exakt technology to manage the timing relationship between individual drive units and preserve more of the musical information carried within the original signal.
