The Linn Majik LP12 MM brings together the principal components needed to begin enjoying the Sondek LP12 platform within one carefully balanced package.
Its suspended belt-drive architecture, Karousel bearing, Majik sub-chassis, Krane tonearm and Adikt cartridge have been selected to work together as a complete vinyl source.
The modular construction also allows individual components to be upgraded later, helping the turntable evolve alongside the wider system.

Krane tonearm with Adikt moving-magnet cartridge
The Linn Krane tonearm is constructed from aluminium and stainless steel and uses a low-friction bearing arrangement to support accurate cartridge tracking.
It is partnered with Linn’s Adikt moving-magnet cartridge, which uses an aluminium-tube cantilever and a replaceable Gyger II stylus.
The combination is professionally aligned and configured as part of the complete Majik LP12 MM package.

The Majik LP12 MM uses Linn’s suspended belt-drive turntable platform, with the platter, bearing and tonearm supported by an isolated sub-chassis.

The result is a turntable designed not only as a collection of components, but as one carefully tuned mechanical system.

The Majik LP12 uses a lightweight aluminium sub-chassis partnered with a five-layer laminated armboard.
This structure supports the bearing, platter and tonearm while forming part of the turntable’s suspended mechanical system.
It provides a balanced foundation for the supplied Krane tonearm while preserving compatibility with future Linn sub-chassis upgrades.
Powered from within
Internal Majik power supply
The Linn Majik LP12 MM includes an internal power supply and synchronous AC motor.
The standard turntable speed is 33⅓ rpm, with 45 rpm playback available using the supplied adaptor.
The internal arrangement keeps the power supply neatly contained within the turntable rather than requiring a separate external enclosure.
Choose your plinth
Smooth, fluted and high-gloss options
The Linn Majik LP12 MM can be ordered with either a smooth plinth or Linn’s traditional fluted plinth.
Standard finishes include Oak, Cherry, Black Ash, Rosenut and Walnut, while Piano Black and Alpine White are available as high-gloss options.
Approved custom high-gloss colours may also be available by enquiry, allowing the turntable to be coordinated with furniture, loudspeakers or the wider room.

The modular Sondek LP12 platform allows individual parts to be upgraded rather than requiring the complete turntable to be replaced.

Compatible moving-magnet phono stage required
The Linn Majik LP12 MM does not include an onboard phono preamplifier.
It must be connected to a compatible moving-magnet phono input or a separate MM phono stage before connection to a standard line-level amplifier input.
Linn Majik DSM includes a configurable moving-magnet phono input and is therefore a natural system partner.

The Linn Majik LP12 MM starts from £3,700 including VAT with a smooth plinth in a standard finish.
The fluted version starts from £3,900 including VAT, while Piano Black and Alpine White high-gloss finishes carry an additional charge.

Professional LP12 assembly and setup
Professional assembly, delivery and initial setup are included when the Linn Majik LP12 MM is purchased from Rococo Systems.
Setup can include suspension adjustment, levelling, tonearm and cartridge alignment, tracking force, bias adjustment and connection to a compatible phono stage.
Wall shelves, specialist furniture, concealed cabling, building work and integration involving products purchased elsewhere may be chargeable.
Servicing and future upgrades

Inspection or servicing may therefore be recommended following transportation, relocation or the installation of a new component.
