Why choose the Linn Krane Tonearm?

The Linn Krane Tonearm provides a dedicated tonearm option for compatible Linn Sondek LP12 systems.

It supports the cartridge as it tracks the record groove and forms an important part of the turntable’s mechanical and playback system.

Designed for the Linn Sondek LP12

Krane is intended for use with compatible Linn Sondek LP12 turntables rather than as a universal tonearm for every turntable design.

The existing armboard, sub-chassis and turntable specification should be checked before ordering.

Compatible cartridge required

The Linn Krane Tonearm is supplied without a cartridge.

A suitable moving-magnet or moving-coil cartridge can be selected according to the tonearm, phono stage and wider system configuration.

Tonearm cable not included

The Linn price list confirms that the tonearm cable is not included with the Krane Tonearm.

A compatible cable, such as the appropriate Linn T-Kable, should therefore be selected separately according to the required length and connector type.
