The Linn Ekstatik Cartridge represents the highest-level moving-coil cartridge option in Linn’s current range.
It is intended for carefully configured turntable systems where the tonearm, sub-chassis, bearing, phono stage and wider audio system are all capable of supporting a flagship cartridge.
Flagship moving-coil cartridge
Ekstatik is a moving-coil cartridge and requires a compatible moving-coil phono stage or amplifier input.
It should not be connected directly to a moving-magnet-only input unless a suitable MC phono-stage solution is used.
Designed for high-performance Linn systems
The Linn Ekstatik Cartridge is suitable for compatible high-level Linn turntable systems, including appropriately configured Sondek LP12 setups.
The tonearm, armboard, cartridge mounting, tracking setup and phono-stage configuration should all be reviewed before installation.
Part of the Klimax LP12 specification
Ekstatik forms part of Linn’s current Klimax LP12 complete-turntable specification alongside Klimax Radikal, Urika II, Keel SE and Ekos SE.

Linn’s price list includes part-exchange values for eligible cartridges, subject to serial-number verification and Linn approval.
