At its centre is the Klimax DSM System Hub, connected by Exakt Link to a matched pair of Linn 360 loudspeakers containing Organik DAC architecture, digital crossover processing and dedicated amplification for every drive unit.

The Linn Klimax System is designed as one complete signal path, from the original music source through to the movement of each loudspeaker drive unit.
Klimax DSM System Hub handles streaming, connected sources, volume control and Exakt processing, while the 360 loudspeakers perform digital-to-analogue conversion, crossover processing and amplification internally.
This integrated architecture removes the need for separate external power amplifiers, analogue crossovers and long runs of conventional speaker cable.

Exakt digital architecture throughout
Klimax DSM sends the music signal to each loudspeaker through Exakt Link while it remains in the digital domain.
Inside each Linn 360, Exakt processing separates the signal into the required frequency bands before dedicated Organik conversion and amplification are applied to the individual drive units.
This gives Linn precise control over timing, phase, crossover behaviour and the relationship between the loudspeaker’s mechanical and electronic systems.

Klimax DSM System Hub acts as the control centre for the complete system.
It provides high-resolution network music playback, source switching, volume control and Exakt Link outputs for connection to the 360 Integrated Exakt loudspeakers.
The precision-machined enclosure is designed to provide a stable mechanical and electrical environment for Linn’s reference digital platform.

Exakt Link between player and loudspeakers
Exakt Link carries the digital music signal and system control data from Klimax DSM to each Linn 360 loudspeaker.
Keeping the signal digital until it reaches the loudspeaker reduces the need for conventional analogue interconnects, external amplification and passive crossover components.
The architecture allows the player and loudspeakers to behave as coordinated parts of one system rather than isolated products connected together afterwards.

Organik DAC architecture
Organik is Linn’s reference digital-to-analogue conversion architecture.
Within the 360 Integrated Exakt loudspeakers, conversion is performed after the Exakt digital crossover has separated the signal into the appropriate frequency bands.
This allows the conversion and amplification stages to be optimised for the specific drive units they serve.

Each Linn 360 contains dedicated amplification for its four-way drive-unit array.
The amplifier channels are matched to the electrical and mechanical requirements of the tweeter, midrange, upper-bass and lower-bass sections.
No separate external power amplifiers are required within the standard Klimax System configuration.

Flagship Linn 360 drive-unit array
Each Linn 360 uses a 19 mm tweeter, 64 mm thin-ply woven-carbon midrange driver, 190 mm aluminium-magnesium upper-bass driver and two 220 mm lower-bass drive units.
The four-way arrangement allows dedicated drive units and amplification channels to handle clearly defined areas of the frequency range.
The upper array is housed within a precision-engineered module, while the opposed lower-bass drivers are integrated into the substantial curved cabinet.

Linn Space Optimisation+
Space Optimisation+ models how the room, loudspeakers and listening position interact at low frequencies.
The configuration can account for room dimensions, construction materials, loudspeaker placement and the principal listening position.
This enables the Linn Klimax System to be installed around the realities of the room while retaining a carefully controlled and balanced presentation.
Streaming and connected sources
A reference system for digital and analogue music
Klimax DSM supports high-resolution network music playback alongside compatible streaming services, internet radio and locally stored music.
Its physical connections allow suitable televisions, digital transports and other source products to become part of the same system.
