The Linn 530 System with Selekt DSM Edition Hub combines a precision-machined Linn network music player with a matched pair of fully integrated 530 Exakt floorstanding loudspeakers.
Streaming, source control and system management are handled by Selekt DSM Edition Hub, while each Linn 530 contains its own Exakt digital crossover, dedicated amplification and Aktiv Isobarik bass system.

The Linn 530 System brings network music playback, source control, Exakt processing and integrated loudspeaker amplification together within one carefully coordinated package.
Selekt DSM Edition Hub sends the music signal digitally to each 530 loudspeaker through Exakt Link, keeping the signal in the digital domain until it reaches the electronics inside the speaker.
The system therefore requires no separate external power amplifiers, passive crossover boxes or conventional speaker cables between an amplifier and the loudspeakers.

Selekt DSM Edition Hub
Selekt DSM Edition Hub provides network music playback, source switching, volume control and Exakt system management from within Linn’s precision-machined aluminium enclosure.
It supports a broad range of digital and analogue sources, including compatible televisions, turntables, computers, music servers and supported streaming services.
The Edition Hub is available in Black or Silver, allowing it to coordinate with the selected loudspeaker stands and the wider system installation.
Integrated Exakt
Digital crossover processing takes place inside each loudspeaker before dedicated conversion and amplification.

Each Linn 530 contains three 100 W amplifier channels, providing six channels of integrated power across the system.

The Linn 530 loudspeakers are available in Spruce, Grouse, Peat, Granite, Barley, Black, Butterscotch, Paprika, Aubergine and Blueberry.
The full-height textile covering softens the sculpted loudspeaker cabinet while allowing the system to become a distinctive part of the room.
Each Fabrik colour can be partnered with either Black or Silver speaker stands, creating a broad range of coordinated and contrasting combinations.

Digital from Hub to loudspeaker
Exakt Link system architecture
Selekt DSM Edition Hub connects to the Linn 530 loudspeakers using Exakt Link.
The connection carries digital audio and system-control data to each loudspeaker, avoiding the conventional arrangement of sending an amplified analogue signal through long lengths of speaker cable.
This allows the player, digital crossover, conversion stage and amplifiers to operate as coordinated parts of one Linn system.
Processing inside each speaker
Exakt digital crossover
The incoming music signal is divided into its required frequency bands using Linn’s Exakt digital crossover processing.
This takes place before the signal reaches the amplifier channels, rather than relying on a conventional passive crossover positioned between one amplifier and several drive units.
The approach gives Linn precise control over timing, phase and crossover behaviour for the specific drive units fitted within each 530 loudspeaker.
Dedicated onboard power
Three amplifier channels in every Linn 530
Each Linn 530 contains three channels of onboard amplification rated at 100 W per channel.
Dedicated amplification is applied to the loudspeaker’s treble, midrange and Aktiv Isobarik bass sections after the signal has been separated by the Exakt crossover.
Across the matched pair, the complete system provides six amplifier channels and 600 W of integrated power.
Bass with control and depth
Aktiv Isobarik low-frequency system
The Linn 530 uses a pair of bass drive units arranged in an Aktiv Isobarik configuration.
This provides substantial low-frequency performance from the relatively compact floorstanding cabinet while maintaining dedicated electronic control over the bass section.
The bass system is further supported by Exakt processing and Space Optimisation+, allowing the loudspeakers to be configured for the acoustic characteristics of the room.

Linn Space Optimisation+
Space Optimisation+ models how the loudspeakers, room boundaries and listening position interact at low frequencies.
The configuration can account for room dimensions, construction materials, speaker placement and the principal listening position.
This allows the Linn 530 System to be configured around practical furniture layouts rather than relying on the speakers occupying theoretically perfect positions.
Streaming and connected sources
A flexible Hub for the wider system
Selekt DSM Edition Hub supports compatible high-resolution network music, internet radio and supported streaming platforms.
Its physical inputs allow compatible televisions, digital transports, computers and analogue source products to become part of the same system.
Separate moving-magnet, moving-coil and line-level analogue inputs also allow a broad range of turntables and traditional sources to be integrated.

Selekt DSM Edition Hub is built around Linn’s configurable Selekt architecture.
Its modular design allows the internal specification to be selected for the needs of the system and developed later when compatible Linn technologies become relevant.

A cleaner installation
No external power amplifiers required
The Linn 530 loudspeakers contain their own amplification and digital crossover electronics.
The standard system therefore does not require separate power amplifiers, an external Exaktbox or conventional speaker cables between an amplifier and the loudspeakers.
Each loudspeaker requires mains power and an Exakt Link connection to the Selekt DSM Edition Hub.

Required Exakt Link cables, mains accessories and specialist installation materials will be confirmed within the final quotation rather than assumed as standard.
Professional delivery and installation
Professional delivery and system setup are included when the Linn 530 System is purchased from Rococo Systems.
Setup can include loudspeaker positioning, Exakt Link connection, network configuration, source setup, supported streaming-service configuration and compatible Space Optimisation+ commissioning.
Each loudspeaker requires its own suitable mains power connection.
Concealed cabling, electrical work, network infrastructure changes, specialist lifting, structural work and integration involving products purchased elsewhere may be chargeable.
Power and network requirements
Selekt DSM Edition Hub and both Linn 530 loudspeakers require mains power.
The Edition Hub also requires a reliable network connection. Wired Ethernet is generally recommended for a permanent high-performance installation where practical.
Rococo Systems can review the proposed room and advise on network, power and cable-routing requirements before installation.
Source compatibility
Selekt DSM Edition Hub supports compatible network music, supported streaming platforms, internet radio and locally stored music.
Its digital and analogue connections allow compatible televisions, transports, computers and turntables to be incorporated into the system.
The separate moving-magnet and moving-coil phono inputs support a broad range of turntable configurations without necessarily requiring an external phono stage.
